File Notes

Halo PC (AND CE) Logfile Generator
This program will take the text from a Halo PC Dedicated Server console
and create a logfile based on what was output to the screen.
*DISCLAIMER* Executing this program AFTER running the DS executable
is not recommended. Due to *certain things*, it will produce out-of-order
text for the previous 30-odd commands. It works (I think.. no guarantees),
but I recommend against it. Just to be safe, execute this BEFORE starting the DS.

There are three options for running this program:

1.) Simply double-click the executable file. Note that this
chooses a PID. This is fine if you have only one instance of
a dedicated server, but:

2.) Execute this executable with the command-line switch -image.
This will prompt you for a preferred PID. If the PID does not
exist or does not correspond to a dedicated server instance,
it will warn you and choose the PID itself.

3.) Execute this executable with the command-line switch -title.
This will prompt you for the title of a dedicated server instance.
This is HIGHLY recommended if you have more than one instance of the
DS running. I have included a batch file that will execute the program
with this switch, so you don't need to open up a command prompt or
anything to use this switch.

Note that this will accept both HaloCE and HaloPC consoles -- if you want
a specific one, I recommend choosing the title!

That's about it :)

Good Luck,
-Kybo Ren
